Kids can start training capoeira as young as 5 years old and as late as 12 years. At the Tacoma Armory our kids classes are Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 5:50pm.

New teen and adults trying capoeira. Experience ranging from first day to three years, focusing on the basics of Capoeira. Teens can start ages 13-17 and adults 18-99. Classes at Tacoma Armory are Mondays and Wednesdays at 6pm - 6:50pm.

Starting at 15 years old, teens and adults train together at the Tacoma Armory on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7pm - 7:50pm.

Every 2nd Friday of the month, Filhos de Palmares Capoeira hosts a open roda (circle) for all ages. Our roda is located at the Urban Grace Church 902 market street in downtown Tacoma. A roda is where we have live music and implement our capoeira training. It starts at 6pm and is open to the community.
